Senior Consultant Pulmonologist

Dr. Paramez A R is the senior consultant of Pulmonology Division & Critical Care Medicine at Lisie Hospital Kochi. He received his medical degree from Govt. Medical College, Thrissur and completed MD at J L N Medical College, Ajmer. Following Diploma in Critical Care (IDCC) at the Fortis Hospital, New Delhi, he has completed training in Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) and HERMES (EDARM)

Dr. Paramez did Pulmonary Medicine Residency at J L N Medical College, Ajmer before joining as registrar in the division of critical care Medicine at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. Following senior residency in Pulmonology and Respiratory critical care (MICU) at the Fortis Flt Lt Rajan Dhall Hospital and Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, he moved to the KIMS Hospital Kochi. He is currently working as Senior Consultant and head of pulmonary medicine at Lisie Hospital. Dr. Paramez’s has attended various international and national conferences and publications in indexed journals.

He is a member of several organizations including European Respiratory Society and American College of Chest Physicians. He is present & governing council member of Indian Chest Society, secretary of kerala chapter of Indian Chest Society. And vice president of Cochin Thoracic Society. His clinical interests are Interventional Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, COPD, Lung Cancer, HIV, Pulmonary Infections in Elderly, DPLD and Bronchial Asthma.
